Become an ACTionism Pollinator
We're looking for ACTionists around the country who want to help spread the idea of finding others and taking action together, whether that's across a region, a field of expertise, or both.
We're a small group of enthusiastic dreamers who think we're onto something - encouraging and facilitating people to step into their agency, find the others, and start taking action together. But we can't be everywhere, and we don't know everything.
The more the idea of finding the others and taking collective action takes root in different communities (and different sectors), the more the idea, the impact and the joy spread too.
That's why we're looking for Actionists around the country who want to help it spread, whether that's across a place, a field of expertise, or both.
This isn't a formal role with a job description and a set of instructions. It's an invitation. Maybe you know your city or region inside out — the people, the networks, the gaps, the energy. Or maybe you're deeply embedded in a sector like the circular economy, food, housing, or education, and you can see exactly how these ideas could take root there and cross-pollinate with others.
An ACTionism Pollinator is someone who knows their patch — geographic or otherwise — and wants to help people find each other and start acting together.
Maybe that looks like connecting two people who should probably meet.
Maybe it's putting your hand up when we get a speaking request, screening, or workshop enquiry near you.
Maybe it's carrying the ideas into spaces and conversations we'd never reach on our own — and letting them spread a little further each time.
What we're looking for
What matters is that you're genuinely interested in the ideas behind ACTionism, you like talking to people, and you'd like to help people embrace the ideas of finding others and taking collective action.
You don't need any specific qualifications, and there are no targets to hit. We just want your enthusiasm and energy!
At the moment, this role is voluntary, though we aim to offer a small fee to those who facilitate at any talks or workshops that we are asked to deliver.
