Coming soon - two potential screenings of ACTionism in collaboration with our friends at 99p Films.

Together we're taking ACTionism to Falmouth University Sustainable Fashion department as part of Fashion Reclaimed, a Sustainable Fashion Week between 27 Sept – 5 Oct 2025.

Along with a potential screening at the Cornish Bank's Summer Camp festival in their arts and crafts workshop area!

99p Films is a is a community interest cinema that goes beyond traditional film screenings.

99p Films creates a transformative experience by incorporating film, mindful breathing, engaging discussions and communal feasts, creating a safe space for community discussions.

99p Films founder, Alex Fish, has become a good friend of ACTionism ever since we met at Goodfest in 2023. The friendship flourished with chats about the 99p Films Social Cinema concept informing the way we released ACTionism into the world.

We didn't want ACTionism to be consumed passively at home, we wanted citizens to participate in the screenings with their community. And, to create spaces for safe discussions. Alex and the 99p Film team, had already demonstrated that such an approach was possible.

The collab didn't end there, 99p Films also contributed to the first edition of the ACTionism handbook with a guide called 'How to Social Cinema'. The guide has helped us, and other communities think about how we hold space for conversations at screenings.

So we're beyond excited to be screening ACTionism with the champions of social cinema, 99p Films.
