When we step into our agency as citizens, we often work tirelessly to effect change. And yet, we know first-hand that when care isn't prioritised, we can experience burnout, conflict, and harmful behaviours. 

Created and launched by Act Build Change, who are on a mission to grow the number of organisers taking collective action, this [Collective Care Workbook](https://docs.actbuildchange.com/collective-care-workbook?ref=actionism.space) is a fantastic tool to support anyone stepping into their agency to act, to strengthen and build collective care in their work and projects

## About the workbook

This workbook is designed for community organisers but applies to anyone working towards change, and it is divided into theme-based sections.

Each theme then contains teaching, activities and tools to build care in your organising:

- Organising relationships and care.
- Boundaries and organising.
- Navigating stress and urgency.
- Anti-oppression and intersectionality.
- Joy and celebration.
- Rest and recovery.
- Building caring teams.

Act Build Change wants to support more of us in caring for ourselves and one another as we act on the long arc of justice. 

How you build your team and who you build it with matter. 

How you take action, create a sense of belonging and deal with accountability and discomfort matters.
